purpose
To interpret the business requirement specification and translate into a detailed system design specification to enable the development of innovative, flexible and efficient solution of a business problem
experience and qualifications
- Minimum Qualification – Relevant IT Degree
- Experience – 3 to 5 years’ in a similar environment of which 1 to 2 years ideally at a junior specialist level
additional requirements
In accordance with National Credit Act (NCA) candidates applying for this role will require a credit record check. Additional Job Requirements/Responsibilities • Conduct research to ensure solutions are robust and they delivery high user experience standards • Recommend industry best practice to improve quality of solutions • Support and/or create required automation to enable continuous delivery • Basic software development skills are an added advantage
responsibilities
- Ensure development and continuous value add improvement to operational processes
- Manages risks in own area of responsibility
- Creates solutions to meet customer demands to deliver internal and external customer service excellence through adherence to quality service standards
- Control expenditure and identify process improvements to contain and reduce costs
- Define and document each function that the system is required to perform and the functional boundary of the system by defining and analysing the required interactions between the system and its environment in terms of interface constraints to ensure that business needs/requirements are satisfied by the system requirements
- Participate in planned activities that are appropriate for own development
