DIRECTORATE: PRIMARY HEALTH CARE SERVICES

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: An appropriate Health related Certificate, Diploma or Degree plus registration with the Health Professional Council of Namibia plus appropriate experience.

PURPOSE OF WORK:

To work closely with the CMS and EPI managers to support the immunization programme to roll out COVID – 19 vaccine efficiently and effectively as well as support the management of routine EPI. Ensuring lifesaving vaccines are always available up to the last mile, coverage are met and no child or eligible targets is left behind.

To provide technical support to EPI & CMS even Pharmacies of the MOHSS at all levels of the supply chain in aspects of vaccine security, logistics and immunization supply chain. Include social mobilization to improve immunization coverages. To support planning, implementation, coordination, monitoring and evaluation of the immunization programme. Including roll out of the COVID – 19 vaccine and cold chain support across the entire immunization programme.

Duration of employment: Twelve (12) months contract
