PURPOSE OF THE POSITION
To effectively and efficiently manage all aspects of the day-to-day running of the Hangana Factory Shop. This includes sourcing, sales, administration, reporting and cash-ups
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
- Grade 12 Certificate with a pass mark in Mathematics
- 3-5 Years’ Experience in some form of supervisory level within a retail environment-preferably food services
- Experience in the Fishing Industry within the Sales/Trading environment will be an added advantage
- Cost Accounting
- Good understanding of Finance
- Good understanding of HR/IR
- Additional qualifications will be an added advantage
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Ensure timely operating hours of the Factory Shop and acceptable staffing levels
- Ensure highest level of customer service is maintained at all times
- Maintain acceptable stock levels
- Ensure Sales and Vendor invoices are dealt with in a timely manner
- Ensure effective upkeep of the Point-of-Sales software
- Ensure daily cash-ups balances are correct
- Ensure that incoming stock is monitored, checked and recorded
- Manage retail and bulk sales
- Maintain a good product offering in quality, diversity and competitiveness
- Manager retail and bulk sales
- Ensure day-to-day, weekly, monthly and annual sales targets are achieved
