PURPOSE OF THE POSITION

To effectively and efficiently manage all aspects of the day-to-day running of the Hangana Factory Shop. This includes sourcing, sales, administration, reporting and cash-ups

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

• Grade 12 Certificate with a pass mark in Mathematics
• 3-5 Years’ Experience in some form of supervisory level within a retail environment-preferably food services
• Experience in the Fishing Industry within the Sales/Trading environment will be an added advantage
• Cost Accounting
• Good understanding of Finance
• Good understanding of HR/IR
• Additional qualifications will be an added advantage

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

• Ensure timely operating hours of the Factory Shop and acceptable staffing levels
• Ensure highest level of customer service is maintained at all times
• Maintain acceptable stock levels
• Ensure Sales and Vendor invoices are dealt with in a timely manner
• Ensure effective upkeep of the Point-of-Sales software
• Ensure daily cash-ups balances are correct
• Ensure that incoming stock is monitored, checked and recorded
• Manage retail and bulk sales
• Maintain a good product offering in quality, diversity and competitiveness 
• Manager retail and bulk sales
• Ensure day-to-day, weekly, monthly and annual sales targets are achieved
