PRIMARY FUNCTIONS:

To plan ,organize , lead and control the overall the Infrastructure. Town Planning, Technical Services (ix. town planning, mechanical, plumbing and water, mad construction, civil construction) and approval of building plans/inspection of buildings, etc.

KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS:

• Strategic planning, budgeting and strategic advice.
• Stall Management.
• Water Reticulation Network.

Town Planning.

Electricity.

General.

REQUIREMENTS:

• BSC or B/Tech Degree in Civil Engineering, or equivalent.
• At least 5 years experience in civil, mechanical, and electrical engineering of which at least 3 years should have been in a managerial capacity.
• Managerial skills. Project Management skills, Sound interpersonal / communication skills. Strong leadership and conflict handling skills. Co­ordination skills. Computer literacy (CAD and civil engineering software packages).
• Working knowledge of measuring equipment ( Total station). Bask working knowledge of health and sanitation. Knowledge of Local Authorities Act & Municipal Building Regulations. Knowledge of Town Planning.
• Registration with the Engineering Council of Namibia.
• Valid code BE drivers license.
• Namibian citizen or Permanent Residence or Work Permit.
