We are looking to hire a stock controller to manage and control inventory at Emanya@Etosha Lodge by ensuring correct receiving, storage, recording, issuing, and safeguarding of stock.

Key Responsibilities

Receive deliveries and verify quantities, quality, and documentation.
Maintain accurate stock records (incoming, outgoing, transfers, and adjustments).
Issue stock to departments according to internal procedures.
Conduct stock counts and reconcile discrepancies.
Monitor stock levels and raise purchase requests for re-ordering as required.
Ensure proper storage conditions, labelling, and stock rotation.
Control expiry dates, damages, losses, and wastage reporting.
Ensure compliance with lodge policies and internal inventory procedures.

Requirements

Minimum Grade 12, a relevant tertiary qualification will be an advantage.
At least 2 years previous experience will be an advantage.
Strong numeracy skills and pay attention to detail.
Computer literacy (Microsoft Office365).
Ability to work accurately with documents and follow procedures.
Trustworthy and responsible with stock and records.
Willingness to work with deadlines and participate in stock takes.
Familiarity with hospitality/food/beverage stock control is a plus.
