- A recognised Bachelor’s degree at NQF Level 7 or equivalent in Sport Management, Sport Science, Human Movement Science, Physical Education, Sport and Recreation Management or a closely related discipline. Sound knowledge (with proof) of sport programme planning, coach development, monitoring and evaluation, data-informed decision-making and programme reporting.
- An NQF Level 7 qualification in Education, Business or Management may be considered where supported by substantial relevant sport-development qualifications and experience.
- At least 3-5 years’ relevant experience in sport development, sport management, coaching development, physical education or organised youth/school sport, including demonstrated responsibility for planning and improving a sport programme.
