GEO POLLUTION TECHNOLOGIES (PTY) LTD is an earth and environmental sciences consultancy Applications are invited for the following position: Social Assessment Practitioner.

Requirements:- Preferably Namibian citizen. Masters or Honours Degree in Environmental Management and a major in Geography and Sociology (NQF level 8 or better). Prerequisites: 15 years working experience in impact assessments and social impact assessments. Proven proficiency in English. Computer literacy- MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint should be mastered at an advanced level with basic knowledge of GIS. Excellent skills in report writing, communication, project and time management, coordination of sub-consultants and public consultation. Code BE drivers license or equivalent. Proven track record of work and social impact assessments conducted as per IFC requirements. Preferences: Experience in the energy technology industry will be an added benefit. International affiliations and work experience.
