Key Responsibilities
- Set up and prepare function rooms according to event specifications and standards.
- Ensure all banquet areas are fully prepared and operational before guest arrival.
- Deliver professional, friendly, and efficient food and beverage service.
- Monitor service quality throughout events and assist in resolving guest concerns promptly.
- Ensure all banquet equipment, furniture, and operating supplies are correctly handled and maintained.
- Assist with clearing, resetting, and closing function venues after events.
- Act as a lead waitron during functions and assist in coordinating service activities.
- Support Supervisors with briefing team members before events.
- Guide and mentor new Banqueting Waitrons and casual staff.
- Ensure team members maintain company grooming and presentation standards.
- Assist in allocating workstations and service sections during events.
- Provide feedback to Supervisors regarding team performance and operational improvements.
- Build positive relationships with guests and event organizers.
- Anticipate guest needs and respond proactively to requests.
- Ensure hosts and organizers receive attentive and personalized service.
- Promote hotel facilities and services where appropriate.
- Adhere to all hotel policies, procedures, and service standards.
- Follow food safety, hygiene, health, and safety requirements at all times.
- Ensure a safe working environment for guests and colleagues.

- Grade 12 certificate.
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in Food & Beverage or Banqueting service.
- Previous experience in conferences, events, or hospitality operations.

- Ability to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays.
