SHOPFLOOR ASSISTANT – EXPRESSMARK GRUNAU

The purpose of the position is to greet customers, restock depleted or low-shop items, and ensure that the sales floor is organized according to established guidelines. Assisting customers in locating desired shop items, informing customers of shop promotions to encourage purchases.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Key responsibilities include:

• Prompt and effective customer service, as the first point of contact
• Shelf Maintenance
• Maintaining clean and tidy shelves
• Assisting in stock rotation
• Assisting in stock counts
• General housekeeping
• Adhere to health and safety regulations
• Adhere to security measures
• Ad hoc and various tasks in line with the scope and duties of this position

The suitable applicant will have:

• A valid Grade 10/12 (with at least 23 points)
• 1-2 years’ applied experience
• Good interpersonal skills
• Computer literate
• High regard for honesty
• Attention to detail
• Be a reliable, accurate, and dependable person
• Excellent command of written and spoken English and Afrikaans Good interpersonal skills
• Namibia Citizenship
