Key Responsibilities
- Provide administrative and personal assistant support to the SHEQ Manager.
- Maintain filing system and departmental records.
- Prepare correspondence, reports and presentations as required.
- Schedule meetings and records meeting minutes when required.
- Follow up on outstanding actions and administrative requests.
- Maintain inventory records for first aid supplies and SHEQ consumables.
- Manage stock sign-out registers and conduct routine stock counts.
- Monitor stock levels and report shortages to the SHEQ Manager.
- Manage incoming and outgoing department correspondence.
- Assist with general office administration and day-to-day departmental activities.
- Perform runner duties, collections, deliveries and errands as required.
- Provide support to the SHEQ Department during the absence of the SHEQ Manager.
Requirements
- Valid Code B Driver’s Licence
- Computer literate with proficiency in Microsoft è
- Grade 12 certificate
- SAMTRAC qualifications (mandatory)
- Valid First Aid Certificate (mandatory)
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in an administrative or personal assistant role.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and maintain confidentiality.
- Good time management & Problem solving skills
