Previous experience in automotive retail or service environments significantly improves your prospects.

You will greet customers, document vehicle concerns, prepare job cards, and coordinate with technicians to schedule repairs. You must explain technical issues and costs clearly to customers, obtain approvals, and update clients on progress. Finalizing invoices, handling payments, and ensuring customer satisfaction before vehicle handover are also core duties.

With strong performance, you can advance to Senior Service Advisor, Workshop Controller, or Service Manager positions within dealership groups. Some professionals transition into parts management, sales, or open independent service centres.
