SENIOR TRANSPORT OFFICER-CENORED

POSITION: SENIOR TRANSPORT OFFICER
Purpose of the Job:
To ensure CENORED fleet is effectively and efficiently managed to be able to support the organization’s operations.
Key Performance Area:
• Manage and Co-ordinate CENORED Fleet Management programme.
• Monitor the usage of CENORED vehicles and trucks that are allocated to departments.
• Coordinate all CENORED vehicle investigations in cases of accident, theft and abuse.
• Conduct general and annual vehicle inspections.
• Assist with the procurement of new CENORED vehicles and trucks.
• Supervise staff to ensure adherence to CENORED safety standards.
• Manage the assessment, evaluation and determination of the extent of vehicle defects
• Coordinate delivery and collection CENORED vehicles and trucks to/from services providers.
• Manage and coordinate CENORED Vehicle Tracking Systems and Reports.
• Ensure adherence to the CENORED Vehicle Policy.
• Ensure adherence to CENORED’s safety standards and procedures.
Minimum Requirements:
• Bachelors’ Degree: Transport Economics and Logistics (NQF Level 7).
• Trade Diploma in Motor Mechanics (petrol/diesel).
• Training in Fleet Management will be an added advantage.
• 4 years fleet control experience.
• Code C Driver’s License.
