Job Description
Position : Senior Reservations Consultant – Windhoek – Luxury Travel Company
Luxury International Travel company is seeking a Senior Reservations Consultant who is a Namibian citizen.

KEY AREAS OF FOCUS:

Enquiry: Work closely with the Reservations team handling all enquiries for Namibia ground arrangements
Creative: Matching experiences to guests’ profile
Consult: Assist the Johannesburg reservations team with all enquiries / bookings, handling of all bookings from clients for both FIT’s and Groups
Maintaining margins in accordance with company policies
Focus on delivering excellence in customer service to clients (speed of replies accuracy and innovation)
Assist in ensuring the excellence of the brand (special rooms / personal letters etc.) therefore making the brand special and unique
Ensure VIP’s receive appropriate attention
Operate: Support Reservation Managers (when required) and lodge operations.

PREVIOUS EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

Reservations, handling FIT and group bookings in a tour-operating environment for a minimum of 4 years.
Previous responsibility for developing own itineraries for FIT Clients and Groups.
Good product knowledge Namibia (well travelled).
Team/group work with people.
Office/administration work.
Can work independantly
Computer literate (Microsoft Office).
