The Namibia Institute of Public Administration and Management (NIPAM) was established by an Act of Parliament, the
NIPAM Act 2010 (Act 10 of 2010). The purpose of NIPAM is to transform the public service in Namibia through improving
management, leadership, and professional competencies. It also aims to foster a climate of purpose, values and professional
traditions amongst public sector employees.
NIPAM is looking for hard-working, self-motivated, dynamic individuals to fill the following positions:
VACANCIES
PRIMARY PURPOSE
To assist the Director: Academic Affairs with investigation into, and offering of practical and implementable solutions to the problems of public administration and management. Also to serve as official researcher and consultant to the Government of the Republic of Namibia and design new systems, procedures and methods that will prevent waste and leakages and make the public service more efficient and effective in service delivery.
Reports to: Director: Academic Affairs
KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS
• Business Centre functioning
• Research
• Consulting Services
• Quality Assurance on Training, Consultancy and Research
• Staff Management
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS and EXPERIENCE
• A relevant Masters Degree
• NQF Level 9.
• 8 Years’ relevant experience of which at least 3 years in a research capacity.
