POSITION: SENIOR PAYROLL OFFICER X1 (INTERNAL/EXTERNAL)

DIVISION: HR

LOCATION: HEAD OFFICE

Purpose of the Job

– We are seeking a hardworking senior payroll officer to ensure the accurate and timely processing of payroll, manage complex payroll tasks and provide expertise and guidance to other payroll staff.

Key Performance Areas

– Payroll Administration Services
– Conducting monthly audits and reconciliations of payroll inputs and discrepancies
– Preparing payroll audit trails and reports.
– Manages the process of payroll third party payments ensuring timely, valid and accurate payment data is provided to the finance department.
– High degree of professionalism, confidentiality and discretion
– Assist with Affirmative Action Compliance Report
– Developing ad hoc financial and operational report as needed

Minimum Requirement

– Bachelor’s degree/Diploma in Human Resource Administration or related qualification.
– At least 3 years’ experience in payroll processing areas in Mining Industry.
– Work independently with good planning and organizing skills.
– Must have excellent knowledge of Namibia’s Labor Law and Tax Legislations
– SAGE Experience is essential.
