SENIOR MANAGERIAL ACCOUNTANT
Job Competencies include:
The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing, maintaining, and providing correct, timely and relevant
information that supports decision-making and monitors and improves cost optimization by means of analysis and
implementing necessary controls and process improvements.
• Complete, accurate, and reviewed annual budgets per department and consolidated to Group level, with continuous
improvement of the planning/budgeting function within MTC
• Review and analyze financial trends, prepare analytical financial feedback for improvement in terms of Revenue
generation and cost control
• Working Capital optimization: analyze and improve cycles by advising on processes and streamlining of it
• Fixed Asset planning and monitoring to optimize EBIT and assist business with life span planning.
• Analyse, monitor, and report on revenue performance to ensure GP target margins are met for all products and services
• Identify and propose more efficient processes and actions to improve revenue growth and enhance overall business
performance
• Provide accurate costing for new revenue streams and relevant Business Cases
• Analyse budget and reports on variances to Management and ensure that budget controls are implemented and
adhered to
Qualifications and Personal Competencies:
• Degree in Accounting, 3 years
• Professional Qualification would be an advantage (e.g. CIMA, CA)
• Minimum 8 years experience, with at least 5 years of Management and Cost Accounting Experience
• Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to interact at all levels in the organization
• Excellent analytical skills and ability to understand and interpret business processes logically
• Strong understanding of accounting, finance, and management principles
• Ability to work independently, under pressure, and with tight deadlines
• Problem-solver with attention to detail
• Solid understanding of ERP, OSS, and BSS systems
• Must have a valid driver’s license
• Must be a Namibian citizen or have permanent residency
