I PURPOSE OF THE JOB:

I To plan and direct the efficient and economical development and construction of I Municipal public works. To provide professional engineering advice and assistance I to other department heads in connection with the planning or execution of public I works improvement programs and projects

I KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS:

I • Engineering Advice

I • Coordinate public works projects

I • Roads & Storm water Management

I • Water and sewerage Management

I • Road way construction

I • Preparing capital Budget Reports

I • Staff Management

I • Health and safety

I • Fire Safety

I MINIMUM JOB REQUIREMENTS:

I • Grade 12

I • Bachelor Degree in Civil Engineering

I • Must be registered as a professional Engineer with the Engineering Council

I • Valid code 8 Drivers License

I • At least 8 years of administrative experience in the practice of Civil Engineering, including experience in planning and directing difficult civil engineering projects at the level of division head or experience at the level of Town Engineering.

GENERAL:

In return of the services, the Municipality will offer a salary scale of NS488 227.00 – N$498 003.00 – NS507 952.00 and Market related employment benefits and allowances.
