The Organization
The Namibia Civil Aviation Authority (NCAA) is a parastatal established by section 8 of the Civil Aviation Act No 6 of 2016 (November 2016). One of the objectives of the Authority is to control, regulate and promote Civil Aviation Safety and Security in Namibia, as well as the provision of Air Navigation Services.
Namibia Civil Aviation Authority (NCAA) invites applications for the following positions:
| Senior Inspector Flight Operations x1 | D1 | Valid Airline Transport Pilot License (ATPL) and extensive experience as a Captain or Pilot in command of Civil or Military air transport aircraft (5000 flying hours) or at least five years of civil aviation administration, operations and safety oversight experience on modern medium and large aircraft combined with actual flying experience on large or medium aircraft. | 5 years’ experience in preparing and or implementing aviation rules, regulations, operating manuals, flight and aviation ground procedures for air operator certification, inspection and surveillance or similar experience of civil aviation administration as a Flight Operation Inspector within an aviation regulatory authority. Understanding of Namibia aviation legislative framework and operating regulations. |
