Key Responsibilities
- Supervise Dispatchers and Fleet Monitors to ensure efficient dispatch operations.
- Monitor fleet management and fatigue monitoring systems to support production targets.
- Ensure the accuracy and integrity of production, equipment and operational data.
- Coordinate equipment utilisation, dispatch activities and operational performance monitoring.
- Compile and distribute daily, weekly and monthly production reports.
- Monitor and report system defects, equipment downtime and operational deviations.
- Support incident reporting, emergency response protocols and safety compliance.
- Analyse production and equipment performance data and recommend improvements.
Requirements
- Grade 12 certificate
- National Diploma or Degree in Mining Engineering or a related field
- Valid driver’s license
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in open pit mining operations
- Proven experience in operational systems control
- Previous mining operational supervisory experience required
- Strong knowledge of fleet management and dispatch systems
- Good understanding of open pit mining processes and equipment performance
- Strong analytical, reporting and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent communication, coordination and leadership skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and operational reporting systems
