SENIOR CONSTRUCTION FOREMAN – Seventy7 Consulting

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of construction crews and subcontractors.
• Interpret and implement construction drawings, specifications, and project plans.
• Plan work schedules and allocate labor, equipment, and materials effectively.
• Monitor project progress and report updates to the Site Manager or Project Manager.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
• Conduct site inspections to maintain quality standards and identify potential issues.
• Resolve on-site problems and make decisions to minimize delays.
• Train, mentor, and evaluate crew members.
• Maintain accurate records of labor, equipment usage, and site activities.
• Coordinate deliveries and ensure materials are available when required.
• Participate in site meetings and communicate project requirements to the workforce.

Requirements

• Diploma, trade qualification, or equivalent experience in Construction, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5-10 years’ relevant construction experience.
• Proven experience in a supervisory or foreman role within construction projects.
• Demonstrated knowledge of construction methods, materials, equipment, and industry best practices.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and technical specifications.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
• Knowledge of occupational health and safety regulations.
• Proficiency in construction reporting, project documentation, and record keeping.
• Valid driver’s license.
