Senior Associate – Risk & Quality

Opportunity | Duty Description

​A career within Regulatory Risk and Compliance services, will provide you with the opportunity to help companies rethink their approach to risk and create a sustainable risk advantage. We’re a part of a unique client proposition, assisting our clients develop proper internal controls by leveraging analytics and technology solutions to underpin efficient execution of governance, to optimise their risk and compliance policies and processes, and improve business performance.

• Assisting the Head of Risk and Quality to ensure compliance to Namibian Anti-Money Laundering Legislation;
• Assist with compliance to PwC’s client on-boarding (Know your client) process;

• Monitoring of existing clients’ compliance with laws and audit independence rules;

• Preparation and review of agreements with clients, joint business relationships and sub-contractors, as required.

• Reporting non-compliance with external Laws and Regulations or Internal Policies and Procedures;

• Assist in monitoring compliance with PwC’s Global Network Standards; and.

• Assisting with other duties assigned to the Risk and Quality team as and when required.

Opportunity | Duty Requirement(s)

• Namibian Citizen & eager to learn;
• Law Degree or completed legal articles (attach documentation)
• 2-3 Years work experience;
• Strong administration skills;
• Attention to detail;
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines;
• Ability to work independently;
• Good interpersonal and communication skills;
• Competent in the use of Microsoft Office and the Google Suite of product
