The Roads Authority was established in terms of Section 2 of the Roads Authority Act, Act no. 17 of 1999. The
Authority fully became operational on the 01 April 2000. The Roads Authority is responsible for the management of
national road network with a view of achieving a safe and efficient road sector.

SECTION: INFORMATION COMMUNICATION TECHNOLOGY (ICT)
SENIOR APPLICATIONS ANALYST, Patterson Grade D1
Duty Station WINDHOEK

Primary Purpose

To coordinate and provide application support, analysis and training for
the business and web applications, programs and reporting
methodologies used

Key Performance  Areas

– Coordination of Applications Section
– Development of systems
– Coordination of projects
– End user support and customer Liaison
– Integration of Business Applications
– Implementation and support of Business Applications
– Manipulation of data and reporting
– User training

Minimum Qualifications and Experience

– B Degree in Business Computing, Informantics, Computer
Science, MIS, ICT or equivalent
– 4 years’ experience in similar environment
– ERP Certification, ITIL
– Code B Driver’s License
