VACANCY – SENIOR ACCOUNTANT

Candidate Profile

Namibian citizen preferred

Scope of Responsibilities

• Maintenance of financial accounting and internal control procedures
• Manage performance of individuals in the finance team and the performance of the team as a whole
• Planning and preparation of budgets and monitoring budget targets
• Analyzing and assisting team members with implementing system processes and controls, including administrative functions

Qualifications / Experience

• At least 3 years of experience in a similar position, with verifiable references
• Knowledge of general business cycles, internal controls and best practice
• Degree in Accounting would be preferred, however work experience and personal characteristics will be more decisive
• Strong solutions-orientated mindset
