Opportunity | Duty Description

PURPOSE OF THE POSITION
To execute a variety of financial procedures, including month-end, year closure and financial reporting, accounts payable and receivable, tax returns, general ledger reviews, forecasting and budgeting. Producing high standard monthly management accounts, as well as half year and year-end Packs / AFS on CaseWare. Analysing financial information and summarizing financial status.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

• Assist with monthly preparation of financial statements and business performance reporting.
• Ensure accounting functions are completed in accordance with established standards, policies, and procedures.
• Preparation of mid-year packs and annual financial statements.
• Responsible for income tax calculations and submission of returns.
• Prepare and submit monthly reporting packs with variance analysis to all external properties.
• Oversee Supplier payment process.
• Assist in all financial variance analysis, budget preparation and any other ad hoc reporting.
• Reconcile SAP and Broll online systems.
• Participate in strategic financial projects.
• Ensure compliance with internal and extrernal control policies
• Collaborate with external auditors to ensure successful audit results and compliance

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

• Degree / Honour’s Degree in Financial Accounting with 5 years’ experience
• Articles /Audit experience
• Excel Advanced and Caseware
