JOB PURPOSE:
To assist the CEO with the effective functioning of the Village Council by rendering secretarial, clerical, record keeping, administrative and other services.

KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS:
⦁ Render an effective secretarial and clerical function
⦁ Manage the telephone and screen phone calls
⦁ Manage the filling system according to the archive Act 12 of 1992
⦁ Improve methods and technique used in the Secretarial

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
⦁ A Diploma in Office Administration or equivalent qualifications (NQF level 6) plus three (3) years working experience as Secretary,
⦁ Proficiency in English, and two indigenous language will be an added advantage
⦁ Must have worked or knowledgeable in Local Authority set up
⦁ Driving license code B added as advantage
Salary Package
Salary Notch per annum : NS88831-NS 92 455.86
Housing Allowance per annum
: 20% of Basic Salary
Transport Allowance per annum (Without a Mortgage)/ 40% of
Basic Salary per annum
(with a Mortgage)
: NS 7 704 per annum
Medical Aid Allowance : 85% Employer Contribution and
Pension Fund Contribution 13th Cheque
: 21.7% Council Contribution
