Key Responsibilities
- Lead and oversee the implementation of the NRCS Strategic Plan.
- Provide visionary and inclusive leadership that strengthens NRCS humanitarian impact and institutional sustainability.
- Implement Board resolutions and provide timely, accurate and transparent reports.
- Serve as the Overall Accounting Officer, ensuring sound financial management, internal controls and compliance.
Requirements
- Master’s Degree, preferably in Social Science or Business Administration or International Relations.
- Executive leadership certifications will be an added advantage.
- At least 15 years progressive work experience, preferably in the NGO sector, of which 10 years must be at senior management level.
- Experience in organizational transformation, change management and strategic growth.
- Experience in financial oversight, budget management and resource mobilization.
- Experience engaging with governments, donors, partners and communities.
- Good knowledge of development and humanitarian programmes administration and management, marketing, financial and human resources management.
- Excellent understanding of the non-profit environment, humanitarian sector and the NRCS mandate and functions.
- Language: Fluent spoken and written English. Good command of any local language.
