We are seeking an experienced and dynamic School Principal to lead with vision, strategic direction, and passion for education.
Key Responsibilities
· Provide visionary leadership and strategic management of the school.
· Oversee academic performance, teaching methods, curriculum development, and staff performance.
· Develop and manage admissions, marketing, and advertising strategies to grow enrolment.
· Ensure effective financial management, budgeting, and facility management.
· Implement HR best practices, labour law compliance, and performance management systems.
· Promote a safe, supportive, and inclusive environment in line with child protection guidelines.
· Build strong relationships with parents, the school board, and the wider community.
· Oversee administration, school records, and data systems.
· Develop and mentor teachers, fostering continuous professional growth.
Qualifications, Experience & Knowledge
· Bachelor’s degree in education or related field (accredited by the NQA)
· Hons degree in Education (PGCE or QTS).
· Preferably a master’s degree in educational leadership, education or MBA
· Minimum 10 years’ experience as an educator, with at least 3 years in a Principal or senior leadership role.
· Demonstrated track record in:
· Cambridge International Education (CIE)
· Strategic school leadership and vision-setting.
· Admissions strategy, marketing, and growth.
· Financial and budget management.
· Academic performance management and curriculum development.
· Managing both qualified and non-qualified staff.
· HR policies, labour law compliance, and staff performance management.
· Child protection, student empowerment, and confidential case handling.
· Building rapport with parents, boards, and stakeholders.
· Facility and budget oversight.
Skills & Competencies
· Strong verbal ability and excellent written communication skills.
· Sound logical reasoning
· Solid numerical ability applied to financial and operational contexts.
· Proficiency in MS Office Suite: Word (advanced), PowerPoint (advanced), Excel (intermediate).
· HR, financial, and time management skills with practical application in school leadership.
· Strong situational managerial judgement with a high level of effectiveness.
· Strategic thinker with proven ability to implement change.
· Excellent organizational and administrative skills.
· Ability to inspire, motivate, and develop staff.
· High level of integrity, professionalism, and accountability.
