Westair Aviation (Pty) Ltd is based in Windhoek and has the following vacancy available –
Position: Scheduler X2
Type of Notification: Vacant Position
Employment Type: Full Time
Employment Status: Permanent

Responsibilities:

• Ensures that crew and aircraft are rostered efficiently for each flight, training, or any other
company flights.
• Ensures that rostered crew are within flight and duty limitations and have received minimum
required rest periods and legal off days.
• Ensures that the administrative tasks as required are tended to.
• Comply with applicable regulations with regard to crew and aircraft scheduling.
• Record flight data into scheduling systems

Minimum requirements:

• Minimum of 1 – 2 years experience in travel, and tourism with fair Aviation knowledge.
• Customer care skills, proficient, communication Skills, excellent computer literacy skills,
organizational and analytical abilities.
• Administrative working experience.
• Proficient in written and spoken English. Another local/international language will be an advantage.
• Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking.
• Can adhere to strict rules and regulations
• Open-minded, capable of multi-tasking, extremely organized, flexible, excellent time management skills, and a team player.
• Ability to work under frequent pressure and in a dynamic environment.
• Ability to handle confidential information.
• Must be able to multi-task
• Programming knowledge and an interest in problem-solving is a bonus.
• Able to work irregular hours.
• Assist with other reasonable requests from management.
