SALES & MARKETING ASSISTANT – Pure Marula by Taneta

Are you passionate about natural skincare and excited about all things sales and marketing? We are looking for a creative and innovative sales and marketing assistant to join our growing team.
We are a family-owned and operated business that produces luxurious cold-pressed, organic-certified marula oil for the face, body, and hair, and as edible marula oil.
We work in partnership with rural women who collect marula nuts using traditional knowledge of the marula tree, which has been passed from generation to generation. We ensure fair trade, sustainable development, and the restoration of their dignity through economic empowerment.

As part of our team your responsibilities would include:
• Marketing and driving sales through engaging customers in-person and online with the guidance of a sales and marketing strategy.
• Provide outstanding customer service and represent the company with integrity.
• Assist with Social Media Marketing and product promotion.
• Occasionally attend markets and fairs.
• And additional sales and marketing tasks as they arise.
Monitor social media platforms for trending news, ideas, and feedback.

Requirements for the position include:
• Previous sales and marketing experience.
• Passion for natural skin care and familiar with Pure Marula products.
• Coachable, able to collaborate to achieve a common goal, and excited to grow with a family-operated start-up business.
• Data-driven, comfortable setting goals and finding creative ways to meet sales targets.
• Tech and social media savvy, photography experience a plus.
Duration: 3 months (with the possibility to extend)
