SALES MANAGER – Metropolitan 50 views

Key Responsibilities

• Implement the business plan developed by the Regional Manager and align all operational processes and resources to the region’s marketing plan and initiatives.
• Establish and identify new sales areas and opportunities, threats, environmental influences and increase penetration levels in the area
• Establish, maintain and manage a highly motivated and productive sales team through solid recruitment, selection and staff development efforts, in compliance with laid-down company procedures
• Optimize production across the product range through Financial Advisors
• Attend to other related ad-hoc tasks that may arise
• Develop and execute branch sales plan and budget
• Continuously develop new business
• Execute joint field work with the Financial Advisors

Requirements

• Leadership skills and experience in the management of teams
• Problem identification/resolution and decision-making skills
• Computer literate
• An innovative thinker
• Grade 12
• Bachelor Degree in Commerce or Business Management or related field
• 5-8 years’ experience in Sales and Distribution
• 3-5 years’ people management experience
• An understanding of the Namibian Insurance Industry and must have a clean Credit Record
• Candidate must be in possession of a valid drivers’ license and own vehicle
