PRIMARY PURPOSE OF THE POSITION
Responsible for Business Planning and Operations to pro-actively ensure that all required sales targets are met and to develop and maintain sales performances.
KEY FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
•Call on all Namib Mills customers as allocated to you and as per the Trip List.
•Timeously collect orders from customers and carefully work through all relevant product/SOH catalogues to ensure adequate stock has been ordered to prevent any out-of-stock situations.
•Ensure Stock rotation is always done, and that PI labels and Pricing is updated on an ongoing basis to avoid confusion to customers. Ensure availability and timeous delivery of stock
•Ensure placement of stock in warehouse/storeroom are managed to avoid unnecessary damages/claims.
•Practice strict stock control measures and assist customers if and where possible to rectify stock levels issues.
•Report any problems regarding product delivery, quality customer queries directly to your supervisor.
•Ensure claims are monitored closely and attend to any claims immediately.
•Work closely with marketing team, to drive and implement NCP’s and customer/brand promotions.
•Ensure that all promotional, filling and or special request orders are clearly communicated and attended to.
•Ensure that all Namib Mills products are merchandised according to NM standards and BTL manual.
•Ensure best placement of NM products on shelves including majority market share as leading brand vs competitor brands. Strictly use Scorecards as guideline.
•Conduct regular floor walks with the merchandiser of the store to identify problem areas or potential growth areas.
•Ensure maximum exposure of all NM products
•Ensure that you are up to date with all relevant market, competitor developments and trends.
•Ensure customer satisfaction and work in well structured manner.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS FOR THIS POSITION
•Grade 12 (NQF4) and a 3-year tertiary qualification in Sales and/or Marketing (NQF 5/6).
•At least 3 years’ sales experience within the FMCG environment
•Valid Namibian Driver’s license (Code BE)
•Must be able to communicate in English.
•Namibian Citizen.
•Computer Literate
