PRIMARY PURPOSE OF THE POSITION
Responsible for Business Planning and Operations to pro-actively ensure that all required sales targets are met and to develop and maintain sales performances.

KEY FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Call on all Namib Mills customers as allocated to  you and as per the Trip List.
• Timeously collect orders from customers and carefully work through all relevant product/SOH catalogues to ensure adequate stock has been ordered to prevent any out-of-stock situations.
• Ensure claims are monitored closely and attend to any claims immediately.
• Ensure placement of stock in warehouse/storeroom are managed to avoid unnecessary damages/claims.
• Ensure that all Namib Mills products are merchandised according to NM standards and BTL manual.
• Ensure best placement of NM products on shelves including majority market share as leading brand vs competitor brands. Strictly use Scorecards as guideline.
• Conduct regular floor walks with the merchandiser of the store to identify problem areas or potential growth areas.

Opportunity | Duty Requirement(s)

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS FOR THIS POSITION

• Grade 12 (NQF4) and a 3-year tertiary qualification in Sales and/or Marketing (NQF 5/6).
• At least 3 years’ sales experience within the FMCG environment
• Must be able to communicate in English.
• Namibian Citizen.
