Purpose of position:
To ensure that customers’ orders are captured accurate and timeously in order for operations to deliver stock on time
Key Accountabilities:
Maintain positive and outstanding relationships with principals.
Ensure that principal’s standards are met and improved.
Load all deals timeously, using deal parameters as supplied by Sales Managers
Get updated deal sheets
Request deal sheets from Sales Managers, Principals as well as buyers.
Monthly review as per template.
Notify principals of pricing claims and related issues per spreadsheet / e-mail.
Puts pricing on spreadsheets and mail to all suppliers
Perform other ad hoc tasks or relief duties as requested by Sales Managers.
Obtain Buying Groups order number from their offices for relevant customers
Write picking slip numbers on orders and filing of orders
Follow up any discrepancies with reps and rectify
Monthly claim back of trade and promotional discount allowed to customers as per printed report
Attend monthly stock takes to do stock adjustments as per counts
Handles queries from customers
Performs relief duties as required
Qualifications, Experience and skills:
- Grade 12
- 2 years’ experience in a similar position where data capturing and typing are included
- Be computer literate with excellent keyboard operating skills
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Fluent in Afrikaans and English
- Professional telephone etiquette
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Namibian Citizenship (certified ID or passport copy required)
- Valid Police Clearance Certificate
