Responsibilities

1. Adhere to Company policies, guidelines, and work requirements;
2. Follow instruction from the Company Man, Rig Manager, and Driller to support operations;
3. Use forklift to off-load and move materials;
4. Dig pits and lines;
5. Install and repair tanks;
6. Clean-up spills;
7. Assist in rig moves: help with rig-up / rig-down, assist with general assembly and maintenance and help prepare the new location;
8. General upkeep of the site location; includes hauling trash or debris, sweeping, shoveling, cleaning, painting, washing of equipment, and related housekeeping duties;
9. Support other crew members as needed by carrying supplies, ensure compliance with safety procedures, and other additional tasks as assigned;
10. Maintain spatial orientation and awareness to safely move around a work environment with many moving objects;
11. Wear required PPE and inspect safety equipment and PPE for wear and replace as needed;
12. Work with an emphasis on safety for themselves and others including coworkers and third parties;
13. Take initiative and work independently during downtime;
14. Actively participate in all pre-job safety meetings;
15. Must be comfortable working at heights (50 ft. or greater) for extended periods of time;
16. Able to repetitively climb steep stairs and be able to lift and carry 50 pounds independently while walking on uneven surfaces;

Requirements

•  High school diploma, GED or equivalent 1-2 years of Roustabout experience
• Commercial driver’s license
• Basic problem-solving and organizational skills
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
• Mechanical/Operations background
• Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment
• Namibian Citizen (certificate of domicile/ permanent residence will be accepted);
