VACANCY FOR A RESIDENT ENGINEER

 

 

We are looking for a Resident Engineer to work on a civil works project in the north of Namibia.

 

 

Key Activities

 

The duties and responsibilities will include:

 

 

• Contract supervision and administration,

• Liaison and communication with the Client and EPC Contractor

 

 

Qualifications, Skills and Attributes:

 

The ideal candidate should meet the following requirements:

 

 

• Be a Namibian Citizen, or have a valid work permit,

• Have a BSc (Eng)/BTech degree in Civil Engineering from a recognised University/Technicon,

• Be registered with the Engineering Council of Namibia,

• Have at least 5 years post graduate experience in the Civil Engineering environment, preferably in consulting and preferably including contract supervision and administration,

• Be responsible and self motivated,

• Be an innovative, honest, self-driven and accurate individual,

• Be able to work independently,

• Be a team player,

• Have good interpersonal, communication and organisational
  skills,

• Be fully proficient in English and Afrikaans,

• Have a valid driver’s license and own transport,

• Be available to commence employment as soon as possible.
