Job Brief

The goal is to ensure that all Reservations-related efforts add the highest value to the business and that each department receives the necessary support and direction to meet our client’s needs.

Requirements

• Grade 12

• Higher diploma in Tourism/Hospitality

• Excellent communication skills fluent in English and Afrikaans. German will be an advantage

• Minimum 3-5 years reservations experience in Tourism Industry

• Ability to multi-task and able to handle high volume of work

• Computer Literate

• Inn Keeper and related system knowledge will be beneficial

• Customer Service

• People Orientated

• Excellent telephone manner

Responsibilities

• Responsible for reservations from tour operators, travel agents – Record Accurate Bookings

• Respond to communications from guests, travel agents, tour operators

• Attend to guest complaints and queries

• Ensure guests are allocated to correct rooms

• Maintain good relationships with travel agents and tour operators

• Follow up on pre bookings

• Meet deadlines and booking request turnaround time

• Customer Service: Ensuring exceptional customer service and positive friendly attitude
