Research Assistant (X6) – University of Namibia

The University of Namibia is inviting suitably qualified candidates to apply for the vacant Research Assistant X 6 positions in the Department of Human, Biological & Translational Medicine Sciences at the School of Medicine within the Faculty of Health Sciences & Veterinary Medicine, Hage Geingob Campus.

Work closely with the Microbiology and Biochemistry studies and with site and community staff to support the implementation of the H3TB Project, Liaise with research participants and stakeholders in research communities, Assist with the field implementation of the research protocol, Collect field data, Transcribe and translate qualitative data, Capture the data obtained, Work with other members of the H3TB Project to contribute to the overall Project elements of the study, Ensure that the component of studies are implemented in Namibia according to the agreed protocols, procedures and time frames.

A Grade 12 with Biology and Physical Sciences subjects. A Master’s degree or equivalent qualification in Microbiology/Biochemistry/Public Health an added advantage.
