Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree/Diploma in Nursing Science and Midwifery.
- Advanced Diploma in Intensive Care and/or Neonatal Intensive Care Unit will be an added advantage.
- Foreign qualifications must be evaluated by the Namibian Qualifications Authority (NQA) and proof of evaluation of qualification should be attached.
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience as a Registered Nurse within a clinical environment.
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in Neonatal ICU and /or Adult ICU.
- Ability to apply critical thinking and to handle critical care duties and responsibilities.
- Ability to manage lifesaving procedures including resuscitation and emergency intervention.
- Proficiency in operating medical equipment such as ventilators, infusion pumps and monitoring devices.
- Registered with the Health Professions Councils of Namibia.
- Namibian Citizen or eligible to work in Namibia.
