The National Youth Council of Namibia (NYC) is a State Owned Enterprise following the enactment of the National Youth Council Act. (Act No.3 of 2009) with the objectives of amongst others to facilitate, implement, monitor and evaluate youth development programmes. NYC seeks to recruit skilled and competent persons on vacant positions mentioned below:

OPUWO TOWN – KUNENE REGION KEETMASHOOP – KHARAS REGION OMARURU – ERONGO REGION RUNDU – KAVANGO EAST WINDHOEK – KHOMAS REGION

Purpose and Reporting:
To provide a vital link between NYC Headquarter and the Regional Youth Forum; Constituency Youth Forum and the community at large as well to cascade the appropriate operations of NYC at regional and constituency level. The incumbent will be reporting to the Manager Programme.

Key Performance Areas:
• Planning, coordination and implementation of youth development programs, project and activities in the Region.
• Monitoring, evaluation and reporting of youth development programs, projects and activities in the Region.
• Promote youth development programs, projects, and activities in the Region.
• Administer youth development programs, projects, and activities in the Region.

Educational qualifications & experience required:
• Grade 12 plus a Diploma in Youth Development, or equivalent (Social Science Qualifications, including but not limited to Community Development Public Management and Development Studies/Management).
• 3 years relevant experience in youth development programs.
• Code B driver’s license.
