We are looking to fill the following vacancy:

Refrigeration Engineer

Purpose of the role: Reports to 2nd Electrical Engineer. Maintain electrical equipment upon instruction of 2nd electrical engineer.

Minimum role requirements & experience

STW95 F Class 5 Marine Engineering with specialization in Refrigeration CoC or equivalent qualification
Eight (8) years sea-going experience on large industrial pumped circulation refrigeration plants
Responsible for all vessel refrigeration compressors
Ensure correct operations, maintenance, and condition of refrigeration equipment
To assign distribute duties to subordinates.
Supervise operations of all refrigeration machinery
Ensure all cooling equipment is set on correct temperature on the vessel
To keep record of all refrigeration machinery documentation
Assist with shore supply for refrigeration equipment or spare parts when necessary
Report to Chief Engineer all refrigeration equipment functioning and follow instructions accordingly
