Key Responsibilities
- Welcome guests and visitors in a friendly, professional manner.
- Handle guest check-in and check-out processes according to lodge procedures.
- Verify guest information, room allocations, and booking details.
- Answer direct phone calls and respond to guest enquiries via phone.
- Coordinate with the reservations team to ensure rooms and services are ready.
- Process payments and maintain accurate records (as per lodge policy).
- Provide guests with information on lodge services, activities, facilities, and policies.
- Handle guest requests, complaints, and follow-ups professionally and promptly.
- Maintain front desk filing and daily records.
- Ensure the reception area remains neat, organized, and presentable.
Requirements
- Valid Grade 12 qualification
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in a reception/front office/customer service position (hospitality experience).
- Strong communication skills and excellent guest service attitude.
- Fluent in English (additional languages will be an advantage).
- Computer literacy (Microsoft Office365).
- Ability to work calmly under pressure and handle multiple tasks.
- Strong attention to detail and honesty.
