RADIOGRAPHER X2 – Medipark Ongwediva

You need a Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Radiography from a recognized institution such as the University of Namibia or a South African university. Registration with the Health Professions Council of Namibia (HPCNA) is mandatory before you can practice legally.

You will operate X-ray, ultrasound, CT, or MRI equipment to produce diagnostic images for referring physicians. Patient positioning, radiation safety protocols, image quality control, and maintaining accurate records are core daily tasks.

Namibian healthcare settings emphasize teamwork, respect for hierarchy, and patient-centered care. Punctuality and professional conduct are highly valued, and you may be expected to adapt to both fast-paced urban clinics and resource-conscious environments.

With experience, you can advance to senior radiographer, department supervisor, or chief radiographer roles. Further specialization in MRI, CT, or mammography, or pursuing a master's degree, can open doors to lecturing or hospital management positions.
