RADIATION THERAPIST – Namibian Oncology Centre

VACANCY: RADIATION THERAPIST: Namibian Oncology Centre is seeking a qualifier Radiation Therapist to join the team in the Radiotherapy de­partment. The position is full time, Monday – Friday, with weeknights and weekends on- call rosters. Minimum requi­rements: A relevant Degree in Therapeutic Radiography or equivalent. Minimum 3 years clinical experience, recent cli­nical experience working with linear accelerators. Experience in VMAT/ Rapid Arc/ advan­ced treatment techniques. Ex­perience with Mosaiq software and Elekta Linac preferred. Ex­perience in treatment planning is advantageous. Working ex­perience within Private Health­care Institution advantageous. Strong organizational skills & leadership skills. Proven work ethic and ability to work un­der pressure. Excellent writ­ten and verbal communication skills with the ability to effecti­vely communicate with patients and colleagues. Fluency in En­glish, additional languages will be an advantage. Demonstrable evidence of IT skills. Current re­gistration with the Allied Health Professions Council division of the Health Professions Council of Namibia. Namibian citizen­ship or residency status.
