Quality Control Inspector x2

I Department:                     Quality Assurance Management

Job Grade:                         C3

Duty Station:                       Walvis Bay

Main purpose of the position:

To provide quality control services on welding and related activities, including document verifications to interested party requirements, recording evidence and all reporting on quality inspections to support Namdock projects, thereby contributing to the vision of excellence in service, and constantly adding value to the stakeholder experience and winning sustainability in the marketplace-based on the concept of good performance.

Key Performance Areas:

• Welding Coordinating & Control
• Welding process Control & Development. (WPCD)
• Data pack administration

► Site Inspection and QC Reporting

• Stakeholder representation at Class survey meetings

’ Daily project meeting representation and feedback

• Job & site visit inspection schedule planning

‘ QCP Register administration and control

¹ QCP process administration and execution Verification of Welding related certificates Operational support

Company required QA/QC related tasks

Assist with inspection and testing of welding process Assist with non-conformance and corrective actions

• Qualification in SAW: Level 1 or International recognized Equivalent

(e.g.CSWIP)

Minimum experience:

• Three (3) years Marine/Construcbon Inspections qualified Level 1 Welding Inspector.
