QUALITY ASSURANCE MANAGER

Education & Skills:

• BPharm Degree
• Registered with the Pharmacy Council of Namibia (HPCNA)
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in a Quality Assurance position, preferably within the Manufacturing industry.

• Basic computer skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Goal-orientated and able to meet set targets.
• Able to work well within a team.

Responsibilities:

The incumbent is expected to;

• Raise, investigate, manage and actively resolve quality issues/investigations as needed e.g. deviations, complaints. CAPAs’ etc.
• Maintain Total Quality Management systems throughout the company
• Monitor and control the manufacturing environment and manufacturing processes
• Approve and monitor suppliers of materials
• Approve and monitor contract manufacturers and manage technological transfers
• Monitor storage conditions for materials and products
• Monitor compliance with cGMP requirements
• Perform organisational risk assessments.
• Manage product launches from the quality assurance side of things.
• Artwork approval: timely and accurate review and approval of packaging
• Perform Product Quality Reviews (PQR) and Batch Manufacturing Documentation Reviews according to schedule
• Take responsibility for corporate citizenship within the sphere of influence and control, and to enforce the Company Code of Conduct
• Deputize Managing Director when out of office and as needed.
• Perform training to ensure continuous quality maintenance and quality improvement.
