Job Title: Property Land Planning and Administration
Grade: Patterson Grade C4

Reporting: Corporate Affairs
Salary Scale: 261,328 – 271,885
Housing Allowance: 20% of Basic Salary (if not owning a house)
Housing Subsidy: 40% of Basic Salary (if owning a housing bond)
Council Pension Contribution: 21.7% of Basic Salary (PM)
Council Medical Aia Contribution: 85%
Bonus: 13th Cheque

 

 

Main Purpose of the Position:

 

Coordination and effective management of properties, land and planning activities within the jurisdiction of Khorixas Town Council. To serve as a key focal person of urban development strategies, land use planning, and urban development regulatory compliance.

– Managing informal settlement
– Acquisitions
– Management of informal settlement
– Self-help scheme
– Letting administration
– Property database
– Marketing campaign
– Sales administration: lower cost housing and self-help scheme

 

 

Minimum Requirements:

 

Grade 12 certificate (25 points) plus B Degree NQF 7 in Town Planning or Land Use Management. Minimum term (5 years)
Should have 2 years’ experience in a supervisory capacity. Should have sound working experience, driver’s license; Auto CAD and GIS skills and good communication skills.
