Organization Overview:
The Centre for Resource and Transformation (CERET) is a not-for-profit organization dedicated to driving positive change and sustainable development. Through our diverse projects and programs, we empower communities and promote environmental stewardship. We are currently seeking a dedicated Project Coordinator to support our initiatives country-wide, based in Windhoek.
Responsibilities:
Coordinate project activities, resources, and stakeholders to ensure successful implementation of CERET projects within the framework of local project management practices
Work closely with project managers to develop project plans, schedules, and budgets that align with local financial and project management norms
Monitor project progress and track key performance indicators to evaluate project outcomes in accordance with local standards
Facilitate communication and collaboration among project team members and external partners, respecting local cultural and professional norms
Prepare and maintain project documentation, including reports, meeting minutes, and action plans, following local administrative standards
Identify and mitigate project risks and issues in a proactive manner, considering the specific challenges and opportunities in the local context
Support fundraising and grant proposal development efforts as needed, adhering to local financial reporting requirements
Provide administrative support to project managers and contribute to organizational initiatives in line with local nonprofit practices
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Project Management, or related field, with knowledge of local project management principles
Proven experience in project coordination or management, preferably in the nonprofit sector
Strong organizational and multitasking abilities, with attention to detail and respect for local cultural sensitivities
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders within the local context
Proficiency in project management software and MS Office Suite, with experience using tools relevant to local project management standards
Ability to work independently, take initiative, and adapt to changing priorities, while adhering to local non-profit regulations
Passion for sustainable development and social transformation, with a commitment to advancing these goals locally
