PRODUCTION MANAGER REQUIRED
FOR AN OPENCAST OPERATION ON A
FIXED TERM CONTRACT.

MAIN TASKS & RESPONSIBILITIES

The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring production targets are achieved, ensunng the legal compliance to Safety legislation and site procedures, budget control and managing staff.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS (Essential unless otherwise indicated):

Grade 12
Surface Mining Blasting Certificate
Mine Overseer Certificate
Mine Manager Certificate (Advantageous)

EXPERIENCE AND REQUIREMENTS (Essential unless otherwise indicated):

8 years’ Miner and Shift Supervisor experience within an opencast mining operation
Truck and shovel mining experience
5 years’ Mine Overseer experience
Valid Code B / EB driver’s licence
Medically fit as per Mine Health and Safety requirements
