Opportunity | Duty Description

PURPOSE OF THE POSITION
Assist with daily operations in the Fish and Chip shop by means of cleaning, stock management and basis food preparation

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
• Grade 12
• 3 to 5 years’ experience in a similar role within a retail environment
• Experience in a Fast-Food environment will be an added advantage
• Good understanding of seafood

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
• Accurately receive, record and store stock (raw material, consumables and packaging)
• Communicate low stock levels and non-moving items
• Assist with monthly and ad-hoc stock takes
• Ensure expiry dates of products are closely monitored and communicated
• Ensure incoming stock/products are of acceptable standard and not damaged.
• Fillet, dress, clean fresh raw material
• Ensure product produced is of the highest quality as per set standards
• Assist in preparing side dishes and accompaniments as required
• See to it that all equipment is clean and in good working condition
